grimmutterings

A growing collection of fanciful short stories from my overactive imagination.  The stories are fictional, they tend to have twist to them – some a little dark, or grim?, some whimsical.  Some are rather strange, I must admit, or just a little creepy and unexpected and maybe even unnerving.  All are unique.

A friend asked me to write her a Christmas story and that is how the writing started.  Other friends have suggested subjects, usually one word or two, and that is how the stories got their start.  One friend has who has enjoyed contributing random words and seeing where my imagination went had the idea of creating this site and is now The Caretaker of Grimmutterings.

We found the name Grimmutterings from a list of surnames, I know no one of this name, but would like to, I think it’s great!  Some of the pictures are my own and others have been given credit where appropriate.

Comments and suggestions for future stories are welcome in the Comments section of Grimmutterings, within the boundaries of decency and good manners, anything other than that we will have a laugh over and ignore.
